The overall theme of Grizzly Peak is redwoods, which if you think about the overall theme of California adventure it makes sense. The area is designed to look like the typical Californian National Park setting found in the 1950s.
Imagineering Highlights
- One thing that’s worth noting here is the way the Grand Californian Hotel is used as a part of the theming. If you’ve been to the Ahwahnee Hotel in Yosemite, things should look familiar!
- As you’re walking through the land, take a look at the ground, you’ll see tracks from animals and other things to make it feel like you are in a forest.
